Read these instructions before first use and store it for further reference.
Commissioning:
1. Connect the handpiece to the control unit (1).
2. Turn the quick release of the handpiece clockwise until it clicks to open the collet chuck. Remove the dummy and insert
the bur of your choice. Turn the lock counterclockwise until it clicks in place.
3. Turn the speed knob (2) to 0
4. Operating without a foot pedal: Turn the power switch (4) to I.
5. Adjust the speed with the speed knob (2).
! During operation, the handpiece develops sensible heat. This is mechanically caused and normal for high spinning
motors and doesn't mean a lack of quality.
Decommissioning:
1. Turn the speed knob (2) to 0.
2. Turn off the main switch (4) to 0.
3. Remove your bur in the reverse order as described above.

INFO: In case of a blocked handpiece, the IRS (Intelligent Resistance System) switches the unit off after 5 seconds to
prevent damages of the main unit and the handpiece. If this happens the red LED (0.V) flashes. To reset the unit switch it off
and on again after a short moment.
Please keep in mind that the autostop happens for a reason. Please check your handpiece for damages before using it again.
Safety notes:
• Set the speed to 0 before switching the device or connect or remove the handpiece.
• Set the speed to 0 before changing the direction.
• Place the unit on a firm, level surface before you put it into use.
• Wear safety goggles and a dust mask while working.
• Make sure that during the work nothing get caught in the rotating attachment (such as long, open hair or shirt sleeves).
• Turn the power off when you put the handpiece from the hand.
• Do not install near water (eg in the bathtub)!
• Avoid dropping, shocking or excessive vibration. This could damage the device.
• Use only with handpieces that are intended for this device.
• Do not use damaged or defective handpieces or bent burs.
• Note the information to the maximum speed of your burs.
• Make sure to insert the bur shank all the way.
• Never open the quick release while the unit is in operation.
• Unplug the unit while not in use.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains by removing the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord.
