Do not operate the CardioMessenger in areas where

cellular phones are prohibited for safety reasons
(for example, in certain areas of the hospital or in
airplanes).
W WARNING
The distance between the CardioMessenger and the
device must be at least 15 cm (6 inches) so that the
CardioMessenger does not interfere with the device.
The CardioMessenger contains a mobile ("cellular")
module. In order to prevent any interference with your
implanted device, the prescribed minimum distance
between the device and a cellular phone must also be
maintained between the device and the Cardio-
Messenger.
To disconnect the CardioMessenger from the alternating
current supply, pull the power supply brick plug out of the
socket.

Charging

You should charge the CardioMessenger once before
using it for the first time.
It is also recommended to operate the CardioMessenger
with the power supply brick on the bedside table to fully
charge the battery.
Note: Do not charge the CardioMessenger with the
power supply brick in the outdoors.
