Regularly check whether the mains cable shows signs of damage. If so, the appliance
may not be operated (immediately unplug the mains plug); hand in the appliance to the
manufacturer for repair.
The device may not be operated (immediately pull out the mains plug) if:
* The housing of the cable is damaged.
* The appliance shows signs of visible damage.
* A defect is suspected after a fall or similar ocurrence.
* In the event of disturbances during use.
* Before cleaning and repositioning.
* After use.
Never pull out the plug by the mains cable or with wet hands.
Never carry or pull the appliance by the mains cable.
Do not pull or the mains cable over sharp edges or get it caught.
Do not bend the mains cable and do not wrap it around the appliance.
Lay the cable so that it lies beyond heavily frequented zones, and so that nobody can
stumble over it.
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or in the vicinity of open flames. Lay the mains
cable so that is does not come into contact with hot or sharp-edged objects.
Never block the steam openings.
Never use the appliance in a room where hair lacquer or other agents have been sprayed.
This appliance may not be utilised as a medical substitute or for medicinal treatment of
asthma or other ailments of the respiratory tract.
Do not insert any objects in the openings or block these openings.
Never place the appliance on a soft base such as a couch or bed.
Never use the appliance under covers or pillows. Excessive heat can cause a fire,
electrical shock or injuries to people.
Do not place objects, materials, paper, etc. on the operating appliance. Danger of
combustion!
Caution! The device is still hot after being turned off! Allow a brief cool-down period before
putting the appliance away.
Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
Do not use an extension cable for this appliance.
