USB stick
All contents for the playback functions of BADOO require the usage of a USB stick, as it is
available in most households nowadays. You can well use any existing USB stick of limited
capacity. All USB sticks with common FAT file system and a capacity of up to 32GB can be used.
We recommend a USB stick with 1GB or more, which should just be used for BADOO.
BADOO expects the following subdirectories in the USB stick's root:
.\music for music files
.\book for audiobook files
.\recordings here BADOO stores your own microphone recordings
These subdirectories are mandatory for operation and need to be created by the user. Please
make sure to copy the exact writings and care for lowercase letters! Other contents of the USB
stick will be disregarded.
BADOO uses MP3 audio format files.
With any PC/notebook/tablet you can copy existing music and audiobook files into the related
subdirectories of the USB stick, erase or move out the files. Please remember always to keep a
backup copy of all your files outside of your PC!
For installing the USB stick into BADOO, open the backcover (unscrew by a coin) and plug-in
the USB stick (18) into BADOO's USB terminal. After the next power-on, BADOO can directly
call the USB stick contents under the related categories.
