ASSEMBLY

After receipt of the delivery, check if all parts are in order. Report any damage or missing items
immediately to your dealer or the shipping company. Visible damage must also be recorded
immediately in accordance with the provisions of the warranty on the delivery note, otherwise the
goods are taken as properly transferred.
ZI-STE6700DH:
The machine is delivered almost fully assembled. If desired, the transport unit can be mounted and
battery have to be connected.
ZI-STE7500DSH:
The machine is delivered fully assembled. There is no further assembly necessary, except connection
of the battery.

OPERATION

This power unit is designed exclusively for operating electric devices whose max. Performance within
the performance specifications of the generator. A higher starting current of inductive loads must be
considered.
13.1

Check before operation

CAUTION: The engine is delivered without oil. Fill up oil before starting the
engine, engine will not start with low oil!
To operate the generator, use engine oil that meets the following requirements:

suitable for diesel engines

0W30 or 10W40 API

with classification CF/ CH-4/ or CI-4
For year-round operation, engine oil with SAE viscosity level 10W-40 is recommended.
13.1.1

Oil level check

Switch of the machine.
Make sure the machine is standing on an even surface.
Dismantle the machine oil ruler, rub up it with clean duster cloth, and stick it into the oil-filling
mouth to check the oil level. Pay attention not to drop the ruler into it.
If the machine oil level is below the bottom of the machine oil ruler, fill the recommended machine
oil into the fuel-filling mouth.
If the engine runs while oil is in shortage, it can be seriously damaged.
The oil alarming system will turn off the engine before the oil level descends to the
security line. Nevertheless, to avoid the inconvenience caused by unexpected machine
halt, we advise you to check the oil level regularly.
