MAIN FEATURES

• Torque sensor with durable aluminium body for accurate torque measurement.
• Mounting Holes for horoizontal or vertical fastening.
• Allows connection to solid surface or mounting to CD.12A torque test bench.
• USB cable connection for power and data transfer.
• Accuracy is greater than ISO 6789. Refer to appendix for details.
• CW and CCW Operation.
These sensors are for use either stand alone, or with FACOM CD.12A bench to allow calibration of the torque.
USB connection to a Windows device running the FACOM control software is required to communicate to the device
and display values.

OPERATION

1. Select a sensor with a suitable range to cover the wrench being tested.
2. WARNING – do NOT exceed the maximum torque value of the sensor. Torque greater than 110% of the maximum
can lead to damage.
3. For greatest accuracy, sensor should be used in a temperature controlled environment. Maintain temperature for at
least 12 hours prior to conducting a calibration test.
4. Ensure the sensor is mounted securely using the provided screws, which should be fastened to the speci ed
tightening torque.
5. Connect USB cable to the controller to a suitable device. This provides both power and data transfer.
6. Ensure cable cannot snag or tangle, or otherwise interfere with safe operation.
7. Start the FACOM controller software (available from www.facom.com).
