MID/WOOFER INSTALLATION
You can install the mid/woofers into the fac-
tory cutouts, or use the grilles and the hard-
ware provided.
Caution: Before installation, be sure that
the mid/woofers will not interfere with the
front window mechanism!
1) Cut a hole if necessary. Fit the speaker in
the cutout, and mark the four mounting
hole locations. Pre-drill the holes, using
a 3,5 mm drill bit.
2) Connect the speaker wires to the drivers.
3) Route the speaker wires to the place
where you'll be mounting the crossovers.
4) Mount the mid/woofers in place, using
the screws provided by the hardware kit.
CROSSOVER WIRING
1) Wire the crossover unit as shown in the
diagram below.

2) Before remounting the top of the cross-
over housing, you have to set the tweeter
attenuation level by adjusting the jumper
on the pcb.
3) Caution: Both tweeter attenuation
jumpers must be set at the same position!
The tweeter level is set best, after the
installation is complete with all the
additional components you intend to
install, like subwoofer, amplifier etc. The
tweeter level balance should be entirely
played by ear after all tone controls
have been set to their neutral position.
Furthermore, the absolute tweeter level is
strongly dependent on the chosen
tweeter location and - if applicable - the
output level setting of the subwoofer unit.
