Getting started
1. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
2. S witch the appliance on by setting the temperature selection
switch (2) to 1 or 2 (1=160°C / 2=220°C).

Preparation
• M ake sure your hair is completely dry before using the
appliance.
• F irst, comb your hair through with a wide toothed comb to
remove tangles.
• S ection your hair off. Starting close to the roots, take a thin
section of hair (strands of 3–4 cm maximum) and clamp it
firmly between the styling plates.
How to straighten your hair
• G ently run the straightener through the entire length of the
hair, slowly and steadily, from roots to the ends without
stopping for longer than 2 seconds. This will ensure best
straightening results without damaging your hair. The
styling plates (4) ensure easy and smooth gliding.
• Y ou can create flicks at the hair ends by slowly turning the
appliance either outwards or inwards before releasing a
strand.
How to form curls
You can also create loose curls and waves:
• C lamp a strand at the roots,
• t urn the appliance half a turn,
• t hen slowly move the appliance horizontally towards hair
ends and the strand will turn into curl.
After use
After each use, switch off the appliance by pushing the button
back to "0" setting.
Cleaning
Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance
in water. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and use a soft
cloth to dry.
