SETUP
Inserting Batteries
1)
For operation, the transmitter requires two 1.5 V AA
batteries. Fold up the cover of the battery
compartment and insert the batteries as indicated in
the compartment.
2)
With new batteries, the transmitter can be operated
for approx. 8 hours. The battery indicator lights up
green after switching on. If it lights up red, new
batteries must be inserted.
3)
If the transmitter is not used for a longer period,
please remove the batteries to prevent damage in
case of battery leakage.
Fastening the Pocket Transmitter and Connecting
the Microphone
1)
Attach the transmitter with the belt clip to your
clothing or strap on your instrument.
2)
Connect the included microphone to the microphone
input. Always make sure the jack plug is properly
screwed into the connection terminal; otherwise
loose contacts and noise may result.
Operation
1)
Set the sliding switch to "ON" to switch on the transmitter. The power
indicator lights up green.
2)
Point the transmitter's infrared interface towards the receiver's infrared
interface (max. 30 cm distance). Press the button ASC (IR diode
flashes). Thus, the transmitter and the receiver have been set to the
same channel. If the reception of the radio signal is of sufficient power,
the reception indicator RF on the receiver lights up.
Adjust the desired volume of the audio signal received with the receiver's
level control.
Note: Always use either the pocket transmitter or the handheld wireless
microphone of the PA system.
