7.1 PCI Sound Card
Installation
• Before installing, turn off your computer
• Unplug the power cord and open the computer
• Remove the slot bracket at the back of the computer
• To install the card, carefully align the card's bus connector with the selected PCI slot on the motherboard
of the computer
• Replace the slot bracket's holding screw to the secure card (if available)
• When installation is finished close the computer again
A. MIC in (connect a microphone)
B. Line in (connect another audio device)
C. Front out (connect the front speakers)
D. Surround out (connect the surround speakers in 4/6/8 channel mode)
E. CER/LFE (connect the centre/bass speakers in 6/8 channel mode)
F. Rear out (connect the rear speakers in 8 channel mode)

Driver installation

• Normally, the driver will be installed automatically when the computer starts up in Windows® XP or later
• If the driver does not install automatically, place the driver disc into the PC and install the file named
"Envy24_Family_DriverV550A.exe"
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation
