Thank you for purchasing a Dragon X electronic speed controller (ESC). Our ESCs have been
constructed using the very best materials and assembly techniques and will give you many
hours of reliable use. It is important that you read these instructions carefully before use, in
order to become familiar with this ESC's functions and operation. Electric motors with any kind
of propeller can be very dangerous if operated incorrectly and could easily result in personal
injury. Children of 14 years of age or under should not be permitted to use this product without
direct adult supervision.
These ESCs have been designed for use in radio control model aircraft and helicopters only.

Basic Specifications
• Battery Type
Dragon X ESCs can be used with Li-Po or Ni-Cd/Ni-MH batteries. Default is automatic Li-Po
cell count (fully charged battery). The number of Li-Po cells can be precisely set if required.
This is recommended for packs of more than 3 cells. Use of Ni-Cd and Ni-MH cells can be
set. The cell count for these is automatic (fully charged).
• Low Voltage Motor Cut
This is set at 3v per cell for Li-Po and 0.8v per cell for Ni-Cd/Ni-MH
• Temperature Protection
At over 90°C, the motor power will cut (No Temperature protection for 110A)
• PWM Frequency
8KHz or 16KHz and is selectable. The frequency/signal is the way in which the motor and
ESC operate together.
Extra Automatic Functions
• Incorrect throttle position at power-up up will result in the motor not starting. The throttle must
be at the low position before the throttle is activated.
• An incorrect PWM signal will automatically turn off the motor.
• Lost signal protection - Loss of the PWM signal will automatically turn off the motor.

We recommend using gold plated ‘bullet’ connectors suitable for the maximum amps of your motor/ESC combination. The ESC connectors should be the Female type and the motor Male. Connect the ESC signal cable (red/white/black) to the receiver throttle channel. If the ESC has a BEC circuit, the power to the receiver will be supplied by the ESC. If the ESC is the ‘Opto’ type, the receiver will need a separate battery to supply its power.

Grundeinstellungen: • Akku: Automatische Erkennung der Li-Po Zellenzahl (vorausgesetzt ist ein geladener Akku) • Automatische Gaskontrolle für die unterste Position • Bremse _ °∞Soft°± Bremse an • Unterspannungsschutz _°∞Soft°± Abschaltung (reduziert zunehmend das Gas) • Motor Timing – 1Grad Den Regler anschließen: Stecken Sie die 3 Ausgangskabel (blau) des Reglers an Ihren Brushless Motor. Wir empfehlen den Einsatz von Goldkontaktstecker, damit Sie die maximale Leistung Ihrer Motor/Regler Kombination erzielen. Am Regler sollten die Buchsen verwendet werden, und am Motor die Stecker. Stecken Sie das Signalkabel des Reglers (rot/weiß/schwarz) in den Gaskanal am Empfänger. Wenn der Regler über einen BEC Kreis verfügt, wird die Stromversorgung des Empfängers automatisch durch den Regler bestimmt. Wenn der Regler ein ‘Opto’ Typ ist, benötigt der Empfänger einen separaten Akku zur Stromversorgung. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gas in der untersten Position steht. Schalten Sie den Sender ein, und stecken den Akku an den Regler. Sobald der Regler eingeschaltet ist, werden Sie einen 3 Klang hören. Dies zeigt an, dass alle Verbindungen richtig eingesteckt sind (Akku/Empfänger Signal/Brushless Motor). Nach 1Sekunde wird der Motor BEEP BEEP machen. Dies ist der bestätigende Sicherheits- Ton (Gas geschlossen), und sind jetzt zum Fliegen bereit I!! Auf die Einstellprogramme zugreifen und einstellen: 1. Klemmen Sie den Regler vom Akku ab.
