Cause
• Power plug is not connected to
an electrical outlet.
• The on/off switch ON
was not pressed.
• The selected power level is too
low / high.
• Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may smoke or emit a slight
burning odour during the first several uses. This is normal and does not
indicate any defect.

Solution
• Connect the power plug into a suitable
electrical outlet.
/OFF • Press the on/off switch ON
to switch the appliance on.
• Choose a higher / lower power level.
