Commencing operation
Unpacking
• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, power supply and cables for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains power. The device must be switched off at
this time.
• For reasons of hygiene, we recommend that you clean the drip tray before
first-time use (see 4. Cleaning and maintaining the device).
Battery operation
Insert 4 x AA 1,5 V batteries according to the polarity in the battery compartment.
Mains operation
Only use the supplied power supply unit.
• Only connect the power supply unit using the voltage specified on the type
plate.
• Insert the power supply unit connector plug in the provided connector
socket and insert the power supply unit fully into a suitable socket.
Note
• Arrange the cable so that no-one will trip over it.
• To disconnect the cleaner from the mains, first switch the device off
and then pull the power supply unit from the socket.
