FAULT FINDING GUIDE

Please check the following table before sending the appliance for repair.
Symptom
The cooling function does
not work.
It makes a strange
sound or vibrates during
operation.
It gives off a burning smell
or the box is misshapen.

Cause
Faulty contact between the plug
and the appliance's socket.
The appliance is exposed to direct
sunlight.
The ventilation openings or the
fan is blocked.
The appliance is too close to a
wall or object.
The appliance is malfunctioning.
The appliance has overheated.
Remedy
Plug firmly into the cool/hotbox socket and the wall
mains socket.
Place the appliance in a cool, shaded place, with plenty
of ventilation.
Clean the ventilation openings and the fan.
Move the appliance away from the wall or other
objects.
In order to prevent a failure, turn off the cool/hotbox
immediately and unplug from the mains socket. Contact
your local repair centre.
