Before Operation

1. Place the hot air generator on firm, horizontal and insulated ground.
Always make sure that the unit is in an upright position. Take care that
the minimum separating distance between the unit and other objects is
2.5 m at the rear (air inlet opening) and 1.25 m at the front (exhaust
end), the side and the top. The unit must only be used in well-
ventilated rooms. The required size of the air intake opening in the
room is 0.02 m

2. Screw the carrying handle (2) onto the upper half of the housing (1).
Operation – Refuelling
Only use diesel or low-sulphur heating oil as fuel.
Hints:
 Never use "bio-diesel".
 The required low-sulphur heating oil or diesel must be stored in a
container clearly marked with "Low-sulphur heating oil" or "Diesel".
Please observe the applicable regulations valid for your country when
storing low-sulphur heating oil and diesel.
 We recommend using winter diesel if temperatures are below 5° C to
avoid problems with fuel suction. Please note that low-sulphur heating
oil and diesel will age. Therefore they should be used up within 6
months.
 Only refuel outdoors and when the unit has cooled down.
1. Remove the tank cap (11). Fill the tank up slowly with low-sulphur
heating oil or diesel until the indicator (10) indicates "F". The tank
volume is 19 litres maximum.
2. Close the tank with the tank cap.
