Installing the batteries:
Open the battery compartment and insert two batteries type AAA. Do not mix old and new batteries. Close
the compartment.
Set up
Direct code mode:
Turn on the device manually. Select the device, brand and code number from the attached code list. For
example TV/TXT brand ACE, code 0713. Press "SET" and then the device button, for example "TV1", the
LED will light up. Type in the according code number "0713", after the last digit the LED will turn off. Check
if all buttons work properly. If not, select a different code. If there is no other code available use the quick
search mode.
To stop the setup mode press the device button again or wait for 10 seconds; it will stop automatically.
Note: For buttons without functions the LED will not light up.
If direct mode is not successful use the quick search mode.
Quick search mode:
Power on the device manually. Press and hold the "SET" button and press the device button to be set.
Release both buttons; the LED turns on. Press the "SET" button again, the LED will flash. Press the
"POWER" button step by step until the device reacts (Power off) then press the "SET" button and again
the device button. Check if all buttons work properly. If not, start the procedure again. The code search will
start at the code after the last selected code. (not from the beginning again).
Note: The search direction can be changed by pressing the "SET" button once for backward and again for
forward search. The start configuration is always forward.
Automatic search mode:
Turn on the TV, VCR SAT etc. manually. Press the device key to setup, then press the "SET (green) +
POWER (red)" buttons together until the LED flashes. Aim the remote control at the device you want to
control. When the device reacts press the "POWER" button. Check if all buttons work properly. If not, start
the procedure again, but read out the code first (see below).
Read out:
To read out the 4-digit code press and hold the "SET" button and press "1" for the first digit. Release the
"SET" button. Press the "SET" button again and press "2" to read out the second digit. Press the "SET"
button again, press "3" to read out the third digit and 4 to read the fourth digit.
Note: Write down how often LED flashes by which digit, this is the currently used code.

Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
