07. Maintenance and Storage

Maintenance
Your styling appliance is virtually maintenance­free. Lubrication is not
required. Make sure that all air vents and openings are free of dirt
and dust.
In case of unusual appliance states, pull the mains plug, allow the ap­
pliance to cool and have it repaired by an authorised service partner
only. The consumer should not make any repair attempts.
DANGER!
• The mains cord must NEVER be pulled, twisted or
strongly bent.
Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Otherwise, the
upper part of the connecting cord will be damaged at the point
where it enters the appliance, which results in break and short circuit.
Regularly check the cord for damages. Stop using the appliance
immediately if any damages are visible or if the appliance stops or
runs with interruptions.
Storage
• The appliance can easily be stored when not in use. Allow the
appliance to cool, lock the button on the lid and keep it out of the
reach of children in a safe and dry place.
The hanging loop allows for safe and convenient storage.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. Make sure that the
cord hangs loosely and straight at the point where it enters the
appliance.

