Operation

Charging the Battery

A new battery will only reach its full performance after several charge/discharge cycles.
The battery is equipped with a temperature monitoring device, which supervises the
charging process. The charger will only work in an ambient temperature of between
0°C and 45°C.
To separate the battery (5) from the impact wrench, first set the rotating direction toggle
switch (2) to the middle position (locked). Now press the locking button (4) and pull the
battery out to the back.
Please make sure that the power mains voltage in your area corresponds to the
operating voltage stated on the type label of the charger. Now connect the power cable
to a wall socket. Slide the battery onto the charger until it locks in place with an audible
click. The charging control light (6) now lights up green. To start the charging process,
press the start button (7) below the LED. During the charging process the LED lights up
red. The charging process takes approximately one hour; the end of the process is
indicated by a change from red to green.

Attaching the Tools

With the tool fitting on this impact wrench, tools can be changed quickly and
conveniently without the need for a spanner or a key.
Before inserting the tool, pull forward the sleeve around the tool fitting. Now insert the
tool and let go of the sleeve. This will cause a steel ball to snap in place in a slot and
hold the tool in place. Check the locking by pulling on the tool.
To remove the tool, pull forward the sleeve. Now you can take the tool out of the tool
fitting.

Inserting the Battery

Set the rotating direction toggle switch (2) to the middle position (locked). Now slide the
battery (5) onto the guide rails from the back and slide it forward until it snaps in place
with an audible click.
