Please read these operating instruc-
tions carefully prior to operation and
keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
Combined with a suitable receiver (US-8001D / 1,
US-8002D / 1), the headband microphone UT-16HW/ 1
with miniature transmitter creates a wireless audio
transmission system. The microphone is ideally suited
for any application requiring total mobility.
For wireless transmission, 16 channels are available
in the frequency range 863 – 865 MHz. When you oper-
ate several headband microphones at the same time,
you will be able to use different channels without inter-
ference.
1.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the microphone UT-16HW/ 1 is in accordance with the
basic requirements and the other relevant regulations
of the directive 1999 / 5 / EC. The declaration of conform-
ity is available on request from MONACOR INTER -
NATIONAL. The unit is licence-free and generally ap -
proved for operation in EU and EFTA countries.
2 Important Notes
This unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU
and is therefore marked with .

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range: 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly operated,
or if it is not repaired in an expert way.
3 Operation
1) Remove the battery compartment cover (4). Insert a
battery of size AAA as indicated in the battery com-
partment, then replace the cover.
