Wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf einer REV Türsprechanlage.
DIE MODELLE
VD-401 (1-Familienhaus)
VD-402 (2-Familienhaus)
unterscheiden sich nur in der Anzahl der Innenstationen und Taster auf der
Außensprechstelle. Technisch sind sie identisch.
Diese Anlagen zeichnen sich durch einfache Montage und Bedienung aus. Die Türsprechstelle ist
im Außenbereich einsetzbar und für Aufputzmontage vorgesehen. Die Verbindung zwischen der
Türsprechstelle und der Innenstation erfolgt jeweils mit einer 4-Draht-Leitung und kann mit einer
handelsüblichen 4-Draht-Leitung (Ø 0,75mm) bis auf ca. 70 Meter verlängert werden.
Bei der Verwendung eines handelsüblichen elektrischen Türöffners kann die Eingangstür ebenfalls
über die 4-Draht-Leitung (pro Innenstation) mit einer separaten Taste an der Innenstation geöffnet
werden. Hierzu ist nur eine 4-Drahtleitung von der Türsprechstelle zum Türöffner zu legen.
Wechsel des Namensschildes (Abb. A)
Um das Namensschild zu wechseln muss das Gehäuse gelöst werden. Die Schrauben befinden
sich an der Unterseite der Aussenstation. Vorsicht beim lösen des Gehäuses! Das Gehäuse
nur schieben.

Vorbereitung zur Montage von Türsprechstelle (1) und Innenstation(en)
(2) (Abb. D)
Bevor Sie die Türsprechstelle und die Innenstation(en) befestigen, sollte eine geeignete
Stelle ausgesucht werden. Dann ermitteln Sie die Leitungslänge, welche mit einer möglichen
erforderlichen Verlängerung ca. 70 Meter nicht überschreiten darf.
Achtung: Die Leitung darf nicht direkt neben Netzleitungen verlegt werden. Um Störungen zu
vermeiden, bitte einen Abstand von ca.10cm einhalten.
Eine Netzsteckdose für das Netzteil (12) der Innenstation sollte in der Nähe der Innenstations-
befestigung vorhanden sein.
Kabelverlegung oder Verlängerung
Die Anschlusskabel müssen zum Befestigungsort der Innenstation(en) verlegt werden, wenn noch
keine Leitung vorhanden ist. Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Länge für die Anschlussmontage.
Ist eine Verlängerung erforderlich, kann diese mit handelsüblichem 4-Drahtkabel (Ø 0,75 mm) auf
insgesamt max. 70 Meter Kabellänge durchgeführt werden.
Achten Sie bei der Installation auf korrekten Anschluss (farbige Markierungen an den
Geräten).
Hinweis zu VD-402: Pro Innenstation muss jeweils eine 4-Drahtleitung gelegt werden.
Montage der Innenstation(en) (2)
Vor der Montage der Innenstation, achten Sie auf die Nähe einer Steckdose für den Netzadapter
(12).
Das Anschlusskabel entsprechend der Farbangabe bzw. der Zahlenangabe an die Klemmen
(13) anschließen und Aufstecken. Das Verbindungskabel (14) mit der Buchse der Innenstation
verbinden und den Anschlussstecker des Netzadapters in die Innenstationsbuchse stecken. (Abb.
G)
Variante 1 mit Montagerahmen (Abb. E)
Legen Sie den Montagerahmen in die Einkerbung auf der Rückseite. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Schienen unten eingehakt sind. Dann schieben Sie den Rahmen nach oben bis er eingerastet ist.
Variante 2 ohne Montagerahmen (Abb. F)
Die Türsprechstelle kann mit Schrauben befestigt werden. Stecken Sie in die Löcher jeweils einen
Dübel und schrauben Sie die beiden oberen Schrauben so weit in die Wand, dass zwischen den
Schraubköpfen und der Wand jeweils noch 3-4 cm Platz ist. Jetzt können Sie die Leitung an die
dafür vorgesehenen Schraubklemmen (13) anschliessen und die Türsprechstelle an den zwei
Schrauben einhängen.

Montage der Türsprechstelle (Abb.H)
Um die Türsprechstelle zu montieren, entfernen Sie das Gehäuse (Abb. A) und bohren mit einem
6mm Bohrer, ca. 4mm tief. Stecken Sie jeweils einen Dübel in die Löcher und schrauben Sie die
Aussenstation an die Wand.
Um die Türsprechstelle mit der Innenstation zu verbinden müssen die Steckklemmen auf die
Kontakte gesteckt werden.
Optional können Sie einen Türöffner (Abb. G) an den orangen Klemmen (22) anschließen. Nur
bei einem Anschluss des Türöffners an die Außensprechstelle funktioniert die Taste des Türöffners
(10) an der Innensprechstelle.
Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polung!
Hinweis:
Die Anschlussleitungen sollten sich möglichst direkt hinter der Türsprechstelle befinden. Dadurch
sind sie besser gegen Beschädigungen geschützt. Die Befestigung muss in einem regen- und
spritzwasser-geschützten Bereich erfolgen, oder es muss eine entsprechende Abdeckung bzw.
Überdachung angebracht werden.

Hinweis:
Der Gleichstromtrafo muss 15 Volt DC und mindestens 1,3 Ampere liefern.
ACHTUNG: Niemals direkt an Netzspannung anschließen!
Bedienung
Wenn der Besucher den Klingeltaster (3) der Türsprechstelle betätigt, ertönt der Klingelton an der
Innenstation und der Monitor schaltet sich ein. Um mit dem Besucher sprechen zu können,
müssen Sie die (9) drücken. Ist ein Türöffner angeschlossen, kann durch Drücken der Taste
(10) geöffnet werden. Wird die (9) erneut gedrückt, schaltet sich der Monitor ab und die
Bild-Türsprechanlage befindet sich wieder im Standby-Betrieb. Durch drücken der Taste (9)
haben Sie jederzeit die Möglichkeit, den Eingangsbereich zu überwachen, ohne das jemand den
Klingeltaster betätigt hat (stille Überwachung). Der Monitor schaltet sich nach ca. 1 Minute
automatisch ab.
Durch drücken der Taste (11) ertönt an der Aussenstation ein Signal.
Die Klingel-Lautstärke wird mit dem seitlich angebrachten Schiebeschalter (21) an der
Innenstation eingestellt.
Hinweis Sicherheitstechnik
Um eine ungewollte Türöffnung von innen zu vermeiden (z.B. durch Kinder), kann die Tür

erst geöffnet werden, nachdem der Monitor aktiviert wurde, entweder durch klingeln an der
Aussenstation oder durch drücken der Taste für stille Überwachung (9).

Hlasový modul může být upevněn pomocí šroubů. Zastrčte do každého otvoru hmoždinku a
zašroubujte horní dva šrouby tak daleko ke zdi, až mezi hlavami šroubů a zdí zůstane prostor
3-4cm. Nyní můžete vedení připojit na k tomu určené šroubovací svorky (13) a hlasový modul
zavěsit na dva šrouby.

Find a suitable spot for the installation of the door intercom unit and the internal station(s).
Proceed by selecting the length of the line, which must not exceed approx. 70 meters if an
extension is necessary.
Attention: The line must not be laid directly next to any mains cables. To avoid interferences, keep
a distance of approx. 10cm.
A mains socket to connect the mains adapter (12) should be available in the vicinity of the mount
used for the internal station.
Cable routing or extension
Unless a line is already available, the connecting leads must be routed to the installation location
of the internal station(s). Make sure the cables are as long as required for the installation process.
If necessary, the cable length can be extended to a length of up to 70 meters by using ordinary
4-wire cable (Ø 0.75mm).
Ensure that all connections are made correctly during the installation process (coloured
markings on the devices).

Mounting the internal station(s) (2)
Before mounting the internal station, make sure there is a mains socket available for connecting
the mains adapter (12).
Connect and slip on the connecting leads in accordance with the colour or numeric identifiers on
the terminals (13). Connect the connecting cable (14) to the socket on the internal station and
insert the connector plug of the mains adapter into the internal station socket. (Fig. G)
Model 1 with mounting frame (Fig. E)
Place the mounting frame into the notch on the reverse. Make sure the rails are engaged on the
bottom. Proceed by sliding the frame upward until it locks into place.
Model 2 without mounting frame (Fig. F)
The door intercom unit can be fixed in place with screws. Insert one dowel into each hole and
screw the two top screws into the wall leaving a clearance of 3-4cm between screw heads and
wall. You can now connect the line to the designated screw terminals (13) and hook in the door
intercom unit at the two screws.
Mounting the door intercom unit (Fig. H)
Before you can mount the door intercom unit, remove the housing (Fig. A) and drill a hole that is
approx. 4mm deep using a 6mm drill bit. Insert one dowel into each hole and screw the external
station to the wall.
To connect the door intercom unit with the internal station, slip the plug terminals onto the
contacts.
Optionally, you can connect a door opener (Fig. G) to the orange terminals (22). The door opener
button (10) on the indoor call station only operates if the door opener is connected to the outdoor
call station.
When doing so, pay attention to the correct polarity!
Note
If possible, the connecting leads should be located directly behind the door intercom unit. This
ensures that they are better protected against damage. They must be installed in a rain-protected
and splashwater-proof location or under an appropriate cover or canopy that must be installed to
provide such protection.

One mains adapter must be used for each internal station!
Note:
The direct current transformer must supply 15 VDC and at least 1.3 amperes.
ATTENTION: Never connect the devices directly to the mains voltage supply!
Operation
When a caller presses the bell button (3) on the door intercom unit, the bell tone on the internal
station will sound, and the monitor will turn on. To talk to the caller, press the
door opener is connected, you can open the door by pressing the
(9) button again will turn off the monitor and switch the image door intercom into standby
mode. Pressing the (9) button allows you to monitor the entrance at any time without the need for
a caller to press the bell button (silent monitoring). The monitor will switch off automatically after

Cleaning and care
Disconnect all mains-powered devices prior to cleaning (pull the plug). You can use a soft cloth
dampened with soap and water to clean the surface of the housing. Do not use any abrasives
or chemicals. Remove dust deposits at the ventilation slots only with a brush, and use a vacuum
cleaner if necessary. Do not hold the suction nozzle directly up to the device.
Safety information
Shut down the devices immediately and pull the mains cables in case of any damage to the
housing, the plugs, the mains cables or the insulation. ELECTRIC SHOCK - DANGER TO LIFE. (Pull
the mains plug from the wall socket!) Have damages repaired immediately by an expert!
