Principle
The optional RC 9 remote control makes larger-scale lighting systems easier to install as it avoids
the need to set each light/sensor prior to installation. Any number of lights/sensors can be con-
trolled via the remote control. A status LED on the light/sensor acknowledges each valid press of
the button for the specific product.
Functions:
Light-level setting

The chosen response threshold can be set from approx. 2-1000 lux.

Daylight operating mode (depending on ambient light level)

Night mode (2 lux)

Light-level setting via the memory button / teach mode (2-1000 lux).
This button must be pressed at the level of light at which you want the sensor to
respond to movement from now on. The current value is stored.
Time setting

The period of time you want the light to stay ON for after the last detected move-
ment can be set to 10 s, 1 min, 5 min, 15 min by pressing these buttons.
Setting the light to stay ON for a time of your own choice. Each press of the button

increments the current time setting by 1 min (up to 15 min).
Pressing this button in sensor mode switches the light ON for 4 hours (the status

LED lights up permanently). Pressing this button in 4 h ON mode switches the light
OFF for 4 hours (the status LED lights up permanently). The 4 h mode is terminated
after the time elapses, by pressing the reset button or by pressing the 4 h button in
the 4 h OFF mode.
Install mode (test mode)

Install mode has the purpose of checking for proper working order as well for
testing the detection zone. Irrespective of light level, the light switches ON for 10 s
in response to movement. Movement is signalised by the status LED.
Install mode has priority over all other settings. Install mode ends automatically
after 10 min. Install mode ends immediately after pressing reset.
Note: Teach mode and Install mode cannot be used at the same time.
Reset

Resets all settings to the values selected on the light manually or to the factory
settings.
Sensor

Sensor channel programming mode (eNet products only)
Press the button for approx. 5 s until the eNet sensor LED flashes. If the actuator
channel of the other device is also in programming mode, briefly press the button
once again.
Deleting sensor channel connection
Press the button for approx. 20 s until the eNet sensor LED flashes rapidly, then
briefly press the button once again.
Programming mode / connecting to eNet server
Press the button for approx. 5 s until the eNet sensor LED flashes.
Actuator

Actuator channel programming mode (eNet products only)
Press the button for approx. 5 s until the eNet actuator channel LED flashes.
Deleting actuator channel connection
Press the button for approx. 20 s until the eNet actuator channel LED flashes rapidly,
then briefly press the button once again.

your country, they are neither curtailed nor restricted by our declaration of warranty. We guar-
antee that your STEINEL Professional sensor product will remain in perfect condition and prop-
er working order for a period of 5 years. We guarantee that this product is free from material-,
manufacturing- and design flaws. In addition, we guarantee that all electronic components and
cables function in the proper manner and that all materials used and their surfaces are with-
out defects.
Making Claims
If you wish to make a claim, please send your product complete and carriage paid with the orig-
inal receipt of purchase, which must show the date of purchase and product designation, either
to your retailer or directly to us at STEINEL Vertrieb GmbH - Reklamationsabteilung -
Dieselstrasse 80-84, 33442 Herzebrock-Clarholz, Germany. For this reason, we recommend
that you keep your receipt of purchase in a safe place until the warranty period expires. STEINEL
shall assume no liability for the costs or risks involved in returning a product.

Princip
Fjärrkontrollen RC 9 som finns som tillbehör, underlättar installationen av större belysningsan-
läggningar, eftersom de enskilda armaturerna/sensorerna inte längre behöver ställas in på var-
je potentiometer. Med fjärrkontrollen kan ett valfritt antal armaturer/sensorer styras. Varje giltigt
knapptryck kvitteras på armaturen/sensorn via en status-LED.
Funktioner:

Inställning av skymningsnivå
Önskad skymningsnivå kan ställas in mellan ca 2-1000 lux.

Dagsljusdrift (oberoende av omgivningsljuset)

Nattdrift (2 Lux)

Inställning av skymningsnivå via minnesknappen/Teach-läge (2-1000 Lux).
Denna knapp ska tryckas för de ljusförhållanden där sensorn sedan ska reagera på
rörelser. Det aktuella värdet sparas.
Efterlystid

Genom att trycka på knapparna kan önskad efterlystid efter den sista rörelsedetek-
teringen ställas in på 10 sek., 1 min., 5 min., 15 min.
Inställning av efterlystiden till önskad, individuell tid. Varje knapptryck förlänger

den aktuella tidsinställningen med 1 minut (max. 15 min.).
Med ett knapptryck i sensordrift lyser armaturen i 4 timmar (status-LED lyser

permanent). Med ett knapptryck i 4 h ON-drift är armaturen släckt i 4 timmar
(status-LED lyser permanent). Antingen lämnas 4 h driften när tiden har löpt ut, med
återställningsknappen eller genom att trycka på 4 h knappen i 4 h FRÅN-drift.
Install-läge (test-läge)

Install-läget används för att kontrollera funktionen och bevakningsområdet.
Oberoende av ljusnivån tänds armaturen i 10 sek. vid rörelse. Rörelse signaleras
via status-LED.
Install-läget prioriteras framför alla andra inställningar. Efter 10 min. lämnas install-
läget automatiskt. Efter ett tryck på knappen Reset lämnas install-läget direkt.
Observera: teach-läget och install-läget kan inte användas samtidigt.
Reset

Återställer samtliga inställningar till de manuellt inställda värdena på armaturen
resp. till fabriksinställningarna.
Sensor

Inlärningsläge sensorkanal (endast eNet produkter)
Tryck på knappen i ca 5 s tills eNet sensorn LED blinkar. Tryck ännu en gång helt
kort på knappen när den andra apparatens aktorkanal också är i inlärningsläge.
Radera förbindelsen sensorkanal
Tryck på knappen i ca 20 s tills eNet sensorn LED blinkar snabbt, tryck därefter
igen helt kort på knappen.
Programeringsläge/förbindelse med eNet-servern
Tryck på knappen i ca 5 s tills eNet sensorn LED blinkar.
Aktor

Tryck på knappen i ca 5 s tills eNet aktorkanalen LED blinkar.
Radera förbindelsen aktorkanal
Tryck på knappen i ca 20 s tills eNet aktorkanal LED blinkar snabbt, tryck därefter
igen helt kort på knappen.
