Safety Instructions
Ÿ
Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers. Damage,
caused by manual modifications on this device is not subject to warranty. If the microphone is used
for other purposes than originally intended or if it is not correctly connected, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void.

between -5° C and +45° C.

Setting into Operation
1. Connect the microphone via a balanced microphone cable with 3-pin XLR plug to the XLR
microphone input equipped with phantom power of your audio unit (e.g. mixing console).
2. If the audio unit does not provide any phantom power, insert a 1.5 V battery t
last page): For this loosen the screw at the lower housing part counterclockwise and screw off the
housing to gain access to the battery compartment. Insert the battery into the compartment. Make
sure that the poles are correct. Set the selector switch from PHANTOM (phantom power) to
BATTERY (battery power).
3. If necessary, the DIP switches allow to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone in four steps. Thus
the volume level of the microphone can be readjusted. Reduce the sensitivity if the volume of the
microphone signal is too high and thus distorted. Increase the sensitivity if the volume is too low and
a poor S/N ratio results.
4. Replace the housing. If the microphone is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please
remove the battery to prevent damage in case of battery leakage.
5.
Screw the holder onto a stand with 1.5 cm thread and insert the microphone from above. For stands
with 1 cm thread use the supplied adapter screw.
Cleaning
For cleaning the microphone only use a dry cloth. Never use chemicals or water.
