 During operation small stones or other objects
may be thrown away violently. Wear solid
shoes and long trousers when operating the
device. Wear safety goggles. The machine is capable of gener-
ating high levels of noise. Wear hearing protection when operat-
ing the device.
 Always be aware of the position of the power cable. Do not trip
over the cable and make sure the power cable cannot be cut by
the device. Always keep the power cable out of the work area of
the device. There is a risk of electric shock.
 Hold the device firmly with both hands during operation.
 Only use the device in daylight or good artificial light. Never use
it when the visibility is bad.
 Do not use the device close to garden ponds, swimming pools or
other bodies of water. Do not expose the device to rain or ex-
cessively humidity.
 Please take care that the brush roller does not jam during
operation. A long-term jam can damage the device. If the rotat-
ing brush roller is blocked by an obstacle, immediately release
the ON/OFF trigger, disconnect the power cord and free the
brush roller.
 Do not jam the cord or pull cord around edges. Do not pinch the
power cord in any way and keep it away from hot surfaces. Do
not wind the cord around the unit and do not bend it.
 Before cleaning or maintaining, first disconnect the plug from
power mains. Do not pull the cord to unplug from the wall socket
but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
 For operation outdoors, we recommend the use of a residual
current device.
 Before using the device, check for damages and do not use a
damaged device. Should the device become damaged do not
use it and have it repaired by a professional or contact our cus-
