Clearing a Blockage and Changing the Blades
The following instructions describe how to open the machine in the event of a blockage or needing to replace the cutting blades.
WARNING! Ensure the machine is unplugged and the power switch is off before opening machine.
WARNING! Use replacement blades as supplied only by your Blaupunkt dealer.
WARNING! When changing blades always wear suitable gloves.
• Loosen the locking screw on the rear of the machine in the direction indicated on the machine.
• Holding the top handle slide the white body section of the machine upwards away from the grey lower motor section.
• If the machine is blocked, remove the blockage and reassemble.
• To change the blades rotate the metal blade wheel and align the inner hex screw holding the blade in place with the hole in
the metal mount.
• Using a suitable hex (allen) key slacken the 2 screws holding the blade in place.
• Replace the blade and fix into place with the 2 screws.
• Rotate the blade wheel 180° and repeat the process with the 2nd blade.
WARNING: It is vitally important that the blades are securely fixed into place before reassembling the machine. Failure to check
could result in death or serious injury.
• Once complete replace the top section of the machine ensuring the locking screw is correctly aligned with the hole and
tighten it.
• The 2 sections of the machine will pull together, once tight the operation is complete and the machine is ready to be used
again.
