Thank you for choosing a dual sensor grill thermometer from tepro Garten GmbH.
Before first use
After unpacking and before each use, check the product for damages. Should the product be damaged, do not use it — contact your retailer.
Read the safety instructions and instructions for use thoroughly before using the product. Doing so will allow you to use all the product's functions safely and
reliably.
Remove the protective foil. Wash off any production residue from the probe with warm water. Avoid the use of cleaning agents or detergents.
Insert two batteries into the device's battery compartment (2 x AAA, not included). See Inserting batteries .
Safety instructions
This dual sensor grill thermometer is intended for the simultaneous measuring and monitoring of the core temperature of grilled foods and the temperature of the
cooking chamber.
Do not use the product for any other purpose
1. Wear heat-resistant kitchen mitts or BBQ gloves if you touch the probe and/or the cable during or after cooking.
(Heat protection category II gloves e.g. DIN-EN 407)
2. Do not drop the device and avoid heavy blows.
3. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures. Only the probe (max. 300˚C) and the cable (max. 380˚C) are heat-resistant.
4. Do not hold the probe in fire.
5. Do not submerge the device in water.
6. Never attempt to repair the device yourself. Have repairs done by authorized personnel only.
7. Always place the device outside the cooking chamber or oven. Do not use the device in the microwave.
8. Keep the device and the batteries out of the reach of children.
9. Risk of explosion! The batteries may not be charged or activated with other means, dismantled, thrown into fire or short-circuited.
10. Use a cloth to remove batteries from the battery compartment should they leak and dispose of them correctly. Avoid battery acid contact with skin and eyes.
11. Always use batteries of the same type and always replace all batteries in the device at the same time.
12. Remove the batteries when not using the device for a longer period of time.
Inserting batteries
Replace the batteries as soon as the battery icon appears on the display.
Open the battery compartment by removing both screws and lifting the lid.
Remove the used batteries and insert new batteries into the recesses. Follow the polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment by replacing the lid and fastening the screws.

Operation
• Set the desired temperature unit ˚C (Celsius) or ˚F (Fahrenheit). The switch is in the battery compartment, see Inserting batteries .
• Connect the probe to the housing using the jack plug on the cable.
• Remove the protective cap from the probe.
• Prepare the food as you normally do.
• Press and hold the ALERT ON/OFF button to turn the device on/off.
• Press the MODE button and choose between oven and timer mode.
