pressing
supplied NIMH battery. Carefully read the instructions
and warnings before charging the battery. Do not leave
the SET
the battery and charger without supervision during the
button
charge! Do not leave the battery connected to the char-
ger once the charge process is complete. Charging bat-
teries carries the risk of fire, property damage or injury.
The NIMH charger supplied with the car is designed to
charge 7.2V 6-cell NIMH batteries only. It is equipped
with a green LED to monitor the battery connection and
charge status.

3. The green LED lights brightly (if the battery is empty),
the battery is charging.
4. The green LED lights dimmer and dimmer has the

Note: if you connect a charged battery the green LED
might light very dimly. If the charger's green LED fails to
light at all, the battery and/or charger may be defective,
discontinue use of the charger immediately and seek
assistance. As long as the battery is connected to the
charger, some charge current is flowing from the char-
ger into the battery.
WARNING! Always charge the battery away from people
and flammable materials. If the battery becomes hot,
swells or vents, immediately stop the charge process
and store the battery in a safe place, away from people
and flammable materials. If the internal contents of the
battery come into contact with your skin, wash the affec-
ted area(s) with soap and water immediately. If it comes
into contact with your eye(s), flush them with generous
amounts of water for 15 minutes and seek immediate
medical attention.
