1. Put the bandage onto a specific body part and fix it with the help of elastic straps.
2. Connect the battery to the bandage, and check that the battery has been properly
connected.
3. Insert the battery in the battery pocket, (fig. 4) and stick it on any area of the bandage
which is most comfortable.
4. At this point the bandage begins warming up and in a few seconds you will be able to perceive a
pleasant heat. Make sure the bandage is fixed correctly. Check that there are no creases or folds.
5. You may extend the treatment period if necessary; remember, however, that generally it
should not last more than 20 to 30 minutes (see "Reasonable heat treatment").
6. If the battery is not to be used for a considerable period of time store it disconnected
from the bandage. Half charge the battery before storing as explained in a specific section
of this manual.
BATTERY CHARGING
1. Connect the battery to the charger and plug the charger into the mains socket. (fig. 3)
Red LED indicates the charging cycle is on.
NOTE: Green LED indicates that the battery is already fully charged. In this case unplug it from the
charger and unplug the charger from the mains socket.
2. Charging cycle will take about 4 hours for a completely discharged battery. When
charging is over LED turns green. When the battery is fully charged disconnect it from the
charger. Unplug the charger from the mains to reduce consumption.
NOTE: Half charge the battery before storing if it is not to be used for a considerable
period of time. Proceed as follows: completely discharge the battery connecting it to the
bandage and then put it to charge for about 2 hours. Repeat the procedure at least once in
half a year.
