10. Cleaning and maintaining the appliance

WARNING!
Live components. There is a risk of electric shock.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Do not spray the appliance with water.
 Always remove the plug before cleaning or
maintaining the appliance and secure it against
accidental switch-on by removing the safety key.

Risk of injury.
 Do not clean or maintain the cutting tool unless
the appliance is unplugged and secured against
accidental switch-on.
 Wear work gloves when cleaning and
maintaining the desired cutting blade.
ATTENTION!
Possible appliance damage.
 Do not clean the cutting tools under running water
or with a high-pressure cleaner.
 Clean the appliance after every use, as dried grass and cutting residue are
difficult to remove.
 Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as these could damage the surfaces of
the appliance.
 Clean the appliance and the cutting tools with a cloth or a soft brush.
 Lubricate the cutting tool after every use and the blade drive after an extended
period of storage or intensive use of the appliance.
