 Keep in mind that the cutting tool runs on after
switching off.
 Never work on unstable ground. Ensure that you are
standing firmly on both feet and keep your balance
while operating the appliance.
 If you are not using the appliance, pull the safety key
from the appliance to prevent accidental switch-on.
ATTENTION!
Possible appliance damage.
 Smear the cutting tool with a suitable lubricant
before operation and after every hour of operation.
 Switch on the appliance by simultaneously pressing the safety lock-out (4) and
the on/off switch (8) on the handle and keeping the on/off switch pressed in.
As soon as the on/off switch is released, the appliance switches off.
 After using the appliance, replace the blade cover to prevent injuries.

ATTENTION!
Possible appliance damage.
 Do not use the grass shears for cutting shrubs or
hedges or for shredding compost material.
 Make sure that the cutting tool does not come
into contact with the ground, sand, gravel or other
contaminating foreign bodies.
 Hold the appliance properly with one hand on the handle, switch it on as
described above and move the cutting tool in front of your body when working.
