Please carefully follow up the instructions in order to be sure to set it up correctly.
Your set is composed of : • one bell CRRC 80305 SER.R1 • one call button "IP 44" CREM 87000 SER.R1 with its
own 12V battery (model A23) • rainshield.
SET THE BATTERIES IN THE BELL
Open the battery compartment (pic 1)
Install correctly 3 batteries by respecting the polarity.
SET THE BATTERIES IN THE CALL BUTTON
Take off the upper side of the call button with a flat screwdriver. (pics 2-3)
Open the protective device et install correctly battery by respecting the polarity. (pic 5)
You can change the microswitch position if necessary (see following chapter)
Close back the call button and check that the set is correctly functioning.
Don't forget to set back the plastic protective casing device which guarantees the printed circuit protection.
INSTALLING OF CALL BUTTON AND BELL
Before definitive fixing up, let's check it will correctly function where you have decided to fix it.
Before drilling the mounting holes, position the rain shield and place the button in the intended location.
Use a small screwdriver to remove the rear cover from the call button. Position this cover in the shield and
assemble the two parts using the screws provided (pic 4). Insert the front part of the button on the rear panel,
checking that the button on the circuit board is correctly aligned with the call button.
IMPORTANT : The call button must be fixed horizontally, the 2 holes for ventilation downside (pic 4).
Reminder : don't forget to set the plastic protective casing device back in order to guarantee the protection of
the printed circuit.
Note : as for all wireless chime bells, when call button is fixed on a metallic surface, range is highly reduced.
The Bell : it is foreseen for either a portable or a put use.
MODIFYING THE COMMUNICATION CODE
The chime has a number of microswitches for changing the code used between the call button (emitter) and
the chime (receiver).
There is no need to change this code unless your chime suffers from interference or is not correctly activated. As
mentioned above, the chime and call button each contain a row of microswitches numbered from 1 to 8. To change
the code, simply alter the position of one or more microswitches from 1 to 7. Positions 1 to 7 must be identical in
the chime and the call button. (pics 5-6)
IMPORTANT : leave the switch 8 of the call button in position OFF
The push button and the bell must have microswitchs in same position to function. (caution with the position
"on") (pics 5-6)
