Ion-Issue
Ions cancel the static charge of the hair and straighten it. The ioniser in the
dryer produces ion particles with negative charge, which neutralise the positive
charge in the hair. Ion issue is not a radiation but only electrical materials.
Press the ion button (F) and the dryer produces negative ions. The ion
indicator lamp goes on. If you press the button again, the ion issue stop.
Overheat Protection
If the dryer overheats, the overheat protection will shut it down. In this case set
the switch to off and pull the power plug. Use the dryer as usual after it has
cooled down.
Diffuser (A)
With the diffuser you can focus the air stream on a smaller area or remove it, if
required.
Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, always disconnect the device from mains power.
2. If you use styling mousse, setting lotion or hair spray residue builds up on
the dryer or the diffuser. Clean the dryer and the diffuser with a slightly
moistened cloth. Never immerse the unit in liquids of any kind.
3. To remove the safety grill (E) turn the grill counter clockwise and pull it out.
If the grill becomes clogged, it should be cleaned with vacuum cleaner or
brush, as otherwise the dryer will always overheat.
Storage
Before storage let the device cool down. The hair dryer can be hung from the
hanging loop ().
