4. Equipotential bonding

The various circuit elements of the 3,5 mm jack bush make 4 variations possible:
Hard-grounded: No plug (delivery form)
Equipotential bonding: With plug, equalizer at center contact (impedance 0 ohms)
Potential free: With plug
Soft-grounded: With plug and soldered resistance. Grounding with set
resistance value.
5. Operating instructions
The hot-gas nozzle has been designed in such a way that the vacuum plate comes to a
flush rest on the component. When the vacuum is switched on, the component can be lifted
off after the solder has melted. In this respect, it is important that the vacuum plate is heated
to the operating temperature in standby function prior to the desoldering process. An elastic
suction unit can be used as an optional feature to the vacuum plate.

6. Safety instructions

The manufacturer will not assume any liability for unauthorised modifications as well as any
employment other than that stated in the operating instructions.
These operating instructions and the warning notes contained have to be read attentively,
and have to be kept well visible in the vicinity of the soldering equipment. The non-adherence
to the warning notes may lead to accidents and injuries or damage to health.
Weller Hot Gas Station WHA 2000 meets the provisions in the EU Certificate of Conformity in
compliance with the fundamental safety requirements stipulated in the directives 89/336/
EEC and 73/23/EEC.

9. Warning notes
1. The mains cable is only permitted to be plugged into mains sockets or
adapters approved for the purpose.
2. Keep your workplace tidy.
Always return the soldering equipment to its original holder, when it is not needed. Do not
place any combustible objects in the vicinity of the hot soldering equipment.
3. Please observe environmental influences.
Do not use the soldering equipment in moist or wet surroundings.
4. Protect yourself against electric shock.
Prevent body contact to grounded parts, such as tubes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators.
5. Keep away from children.
Do not permit any other person to touch the tool or the cable. Keep other persons away from
your workplace.
6.Keep the soldering equipment in a safe place.
Soldering equipment, which is not required at the moment, should be kept in a dry, high
position or closed location out of the reach of children.
