of the arrow and simultaneously
withdrawing the battery
compartment cover.
Remove the old batteries/
accumulators.
Insert new ones in the troughs
provided for this purpose, observe
the polarity (+/-) (refer to the
embossed marks in the housing).
Then close the battery compartment
cover in reverse order. Make sure to
insert the holding noses of the
cover first in order to prevent the
holding noses from tearing off.

Help protect the
environment!
Batteries and storage cells bearing
one of the undermentioned symbols
must not be disposed of in normal
domestic waste.

Instead take them to a collecting
point for old batteries or special
waste products (ask your local
authority for details) or return them
to the dealer you bought them from.
He will ensure they are disposed of
safely.
Hints in case of failure
• To ensure optimum transfer/
receipt, place the transmitter
and receiver vertical.
• Interference noise may occur if
the receiver is kept at too large a
distance from the transmitter. In
this case reduce the distance
between the two units.
• A whistling tone may occur
(feedback, acoustic feedback) if
the receiver is kept at too low a
distance from the transmitter and
the volume is too high. Increase
the distance between transmitter
and receiver to avoid this.
• Too weak batteries/accumulators
may cause a noise in the receiver.

Important notes

• As MBF 1010 is operated at CB
radio base it cannot be excluded
that you can hear other CB radio
participants talking and that
other CB radio participants can
receive the talks and noises
transmitted by your unit. However,
MBF 1010 uses such transfer
frequencies at which such
interference is excluded as far as
possible. Should you find such a
failure in exceptional cases,
change over to the other channel
(frequency). Please note, however,
that there is no absolute anti-
listening safety in the CB radio
field.
• Please use only the original mains
adapter to operate the receiver. If
the mains adapter is defective,
please contact your special dealer.
Use of other mains adapters may
result in considerable damage to
the receiver if the polarity (+/-)
and voltage levels are not
observed.
• When disconnecting the mains
adapter from the socket and the
baby monitoring unit, do not pull
at the cable but withdraw the
mains adapter at the plug and/or
housing to avoid cable rupture or
damage.
• If the receiver is operated with
accumulators/batteries, the
receiving capacity is reduced as
compared with the operation via
a mains adapter.
• The accumulators cannot be
charged in the baby monitoring
unit.
• Using the enclosed mains adapter
it is possible to connect the
receiver with any socket
(230 V/50 Hz). The batteries/
accumulators should be used only
if no socket is available. The
service life of the batteries/ accu-
mulators is extended in this way.
