installation: Rain sensor KLA 100 is installed on the roof or wall by
means of the console supplied. To avoid malfunction due to moss or dirt,
a minimum distance of 30 mm to the roof surface is required. The rain
sensor should be positioned conveniently for cleaning and testing and
must not be covered or sheltered by building parts. It must be installed
with cable entry from below.
connection: The rain sensor is connected to smoke ventilation control
unit WRC 002/WSC 304 or the control system of control system pack-
age KFX by means of a 3-core cable with a minimum cross-section of
0.75 mm
. This cable can be extended up to max 100 m. Only one rain

sensor KLA 100 can be connected to each smoke ventilation control unit
WRC 002/WSC 304 or control system package KFX. The signal from the
rain sensor is potential free.
operation: The rain sensor is constructed for use with smoke ventilation
control unit WRC 002/WSC 304 or control system package KFX for
automatic closing of a roof window in case of rain. From fully open pos-
ition, the window will be completely closed in approximately 60 seconds.
The rain sensor has a heating element to ensure that the sensor is not
activated by high air humidity or dew. Please note that the rain sensor
has a lower priority than the alarm function of the control unit/the con-
trol system meaning the window will always open when necessary even
during inclement weather.
Advanced function: It is recommended that the function below is ap-
plied in case of special needs only.
By means of switch 5, you can ensure that the window is kept closed
for a fixed period of time, eg under changing weather conditions. When
switch 5 is switched off, the opening of the window will be delayed
for about 10 minutes after the sensor surface has become dry. When
switch 5 is switched on, the opening of the window is delayed for about
20 minutes after the sensor surface has become dry. This delay can be
deactivated by switching off switches 1, 2 and 3 (test position).

Montage: Der Regensensor KLA 100 wird mittels der beigelegten
Konsole am Dach oder an der Fassade montiert. Um Funktionsstörungen
wegen Moosbildungen und Schmutz vom Regen zu vermeiden, muss
ein Abstand von mindestens 30 mm zum Dach eingehalten werden. Die
einfache Reinigung und Überprüfung soll ermöglicht werden. Außerdem
soll der Regensensor so platziert werden, dass er die einwirkenden Wit-
terungseinflüsse ungehindert registrieren kann und dass die Kabelein-
führung von unten erfolgen kann.
Anschluss: Der Regensensor ist durch eine 3-adrige Leitung mit einem Min-
destquerschnitt von 0,75 mm
an die RWA-Zentrale WRC 002/WSC 304

oder das Steuersystem des RWA-Steuersystems KFX anzuschließen. Diese
Leitung kann bis auf 100 m verlängert werden. Nur jeweils einen Regensen-
sor KLA 100 pro RWA-Zentrale WRC 002/WSC 304 oder RWA-Steuersy-
stem KFX anschließen. Das Signal vom Regensensor ist spannungsfrei.
Betrieb: Der Regensensor ist für den Gebrauch zusammen mit der RWA-
Zentrale WRC 002/WSC 304 oder dem RWA-Steuersystem KFX zum
automatischen Schließen des Dachflächenfensters bei Regen konstru-
iert. Bei komplett geöffneten Fenster dauert es ca. 60 Sekunden, bis das
