Operation

1. Attach the SunEye 210 to the mounting plate
Place the SunEye 210 on the mounting plate ① and line up the tripod
screw ② with the tripod mount on the backside of the SunEye, and
then screw it in.
2. Set up the SunEye
Prepare to capture a skyline by entering Site Survey Mode.
Open the skyline settings panel by pressing the arrow in the top-left
corner.
Select Extension Kit Mode. Note that Quick Skyline Capture Mode
will automatically be selected. This is desired.
3. Extend the Pole
Loosen the knurl ③ of the top section by turning the top knurl
counter-clockwise.
Lift up the section to the desired height. Tighten the section by
turning the top knurl clockwise.
Repeat the process for each section until the extension pole ④ is
extended to the desired height.
4. Capture Skylines
Rotate: Rotate the Extension Kit 360° in either direction within two
seconds. The SunEye™ will announce "Hold Steady".
Hold Steady: Once armed, point the SunEye toward the desired
azimuth, ensure that the SunEye is level and hold it steady. The
SunEye will automatically snap a skyline and announce "Skyline
Captured".
Move to Next Location: Wait for the SunEye 210 to announce
"Rotate to snap," meaning that it is ready to be armed again.
Repeat this process to capture all desired skylines.
5. View Skylines
Using Extension Kit Mode will postpone skyline image processing.
To process an image on the device, open a skyline and press the
Process Now
Unprocessed skylines are automatically processed when the session
is transferred to a computer.
Skylines are automatically corrected for the azimuth and tilt of the
device when the image was snapped.
