CONNECTING TO POWER
This unit operates from a main supply of 230V ~ 50Hz. Connect the AC power cord to the AC household
main outlet. Ensure that the voltage is as indicated on the rating plate on the rear of the unit.
Turn VOLUME KNOB (3) clockwise to switch the unit ON.

Turn the volume down completely using VOLUME KNOB (3) to switch the unit OFF.

Note: When no sound is produced, the unit will switch OFF automatically after 15 minutes. To re-
sume playback, switch the unit OFF and then switch it ON again.

BATTERY POWER

Insert 6 x AA size batteries into the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (19). Be sure that the batteries are in-
serted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not
be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to
your set.
FM/MW RADIO OPERATIONS
1. Select FM/AM mode using FUNCTION SELECTOR (1).
2. Turn TUNING KNOB (5) to select your favourite radio station.
3. Turn the VOLUME KNOB (3) to the desired volume level.
Note: For FM reception there is a built in telescopic antenna. You may need to adjust the position
of the antenna to get optimum reception.
PLAYBACK FROM USB/SD
1. Select USB / SD/MMC mode using FUNCTION SELECTOR (1).
2. Insert the USB/SD device's plug into the USB/SD socket. The unit will start reading the device auto-
matically after the connection.
3. The first track will start playback. The LED SD/MMC / USB (15)/(17) will start blinking.
4. Press SKIP -/+ (10)/(12) to select your favorite tunes. If you hold SKIP -/+ (10)/(12), the playing track
will go fast backward or forward until you release the button.
5. Press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (11). The unit will stop playback. Press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (11)
again to resume the playback.
6. Press STOP BUTTON (9) to stop the playback.
Note: If both USB and SD devices are inserted, you need to press FUNCTION BUTTON (14) to se-
lect between them.
