This is done with the monitor image in the camera's live view mode.
As an additional way of facilitating or increasing the accuracy of the
setting, you can enlarge a section of the image and/or have the parts
of the shot that are in focus marked. It is recommended to focus with
an open aperture because of the accuracy and possibly (i.e. if the
available brightness is low) also the quality of the monitor image. If
you want to judge the depth of focus, you should not close the aper-
ture until after the exposure has been set or saved to the desired
value.

EXPOSURE CONTROL AND METERING

Just as with Leica SL lenses, all exposure modes and measuring
methods of the camera are available without restrictions.
