6. Cleaning and care

6.1 Cleaning

1. Prior to every cleaning, remove the mains plug (6) from the mains socket and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
WARNING - Danger of electrocution! Do not immerse the motor unit (4), power
cord (6) and mains plug (6) in water or other liquids. Do not hold the appliance under
running water.
2. Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects when
cleaning. Solvents are harmful and can damage plastics, abrasive cleaners and aids can
scratch surfaces.
3. Disassemble the appliance.
4. Clean the motor unit (4) and the power cord (6) using a slightly damp cloth if required.
Dry the appliance afterwards.
5. The mixing bottles (1), the drinking lids (2) and the blade unit (3) can be hand washed or
placed in the dishwasher.
6. Allow all parts to dry completely before storage.

6.2 Storage and transportation

1. Clean the appliance as described in paragraph 5.1 Cleaning.
Note: Always store the appliance in clean and dry conditions. Store the appliance in a
dry, clean place, inaccessible to children, preferably in its original packaging.
2. Ensure that the appliance cannot fall down or tumble during transport.
3. Protect the appliance from impact and vibrations, especially when transporting it in
vehicles.

6.3 Troubleshooting

The appliance is not working:
1 Is the appliance connected to the mains?
Connect the appliance to the mains.
2 Is the fuse of the used mains socket burned out?
Check the function of the mains socked with another appliance.
