Network
Choose upc cablecom using the buttons and confirm
with OK.
If you want to get back to the first installion step to make changes,
you have to use the EXIT button
Network ID & Frequency
Enter the network ID (first line) and the frequency (second
line).
Note: These values can be found on the attached letter or at the following website:
upc-cablecom.ch/setupid
Enter the parameters and confirm with OK.
The menu for the automatic channel search appears and the search will start.
During the search, the status window shows: Scanning.
The found new TV and radio channels are listed.
Once the search is completed, the screen will display status: Finished.
Then leave the menu by using the EXIT button.
The settings and the found channels are stored.
Hints
Power consumption:
Your device requires during operation about 5.5 W. If you switch the unit to standby your
channel list will be checked and updated if necessary. This takes about 2 minutes, after which
the unit automatically switches to Deep standby. The power consumption then is about 0.5 W.
Recording Timer:
This converter has no internal/own hard disc drive. The converter supports only the signaling
of external VHS recording devices via the scart cable. For further information please refer to
the manual of your VHS recorder.
