Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damages or physical injuries:
Make sure, that the nominal voltage on the rated label corresponds to the
mains voltage of your domestic electrical installation.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
Keep children away whilst the unit is in operation.
Do not let the unit without any supervision when in operation.
Take care that the deep fat fryer is connected to a separate circuit, without
consumption of other powerful energy consumers such as electric water
kettles and the like, because of its high current consumption. Do not use an
extension cord for operating the deep fryer that can become a tripping
hazard.
Do not connect the deep fryer with a timer switch or operate the unit with
radio controlled systems.
Only use oils and fats which are suitable for deep-frying due to their quality
and their temperature resistance.
Never use the deep fryer for boiling water.
Allow the fryer oil or fat cool down before disposing of. Do not dispose of
used oil in the sewerage system.
Do not lead the power cord over sharp edges and corners or hot surfaces.
Place the unit on a plane horizontal surface while operating. Do not place
the unit in sinks.
Do not use the unit outside or close to gas flames, hotplates or other hot
objects.
Never immerse the unit into liquids.
Do not overfill the oil container. The punched MAX mark in the container
acts as a measure. Always fill the container at least up to the punched MIN
mark to avoid a disconnection because of overheating. Never operate the
unit without cooking fat or oil.
Hot oil can cause burns. Please be very careful when handling hot oil.
