Installing The Auxiliary Handle
The side handle must always be used to prevent loss of control and possible injury.
• The side handle can be fitted to either side of the machine to suit the operator (Fig. 3)
• Ensure that the side handle is secured but do not over tighten.
Adjusting The Guard
The guard must be installed before installing a grinding disc or using the angle grinder. Failure to do so could result in serious
personal injury. The guard must be positioned correctly to protect the operator. Guard placement depends upon which side of the
tool the auxiliary handle is used, it should be positioned to give the greatest protection for the user.
• Remove the battery. Using the wrench provided, loosen and remove backing washer, grinding disc, and disc clamping nut
from spindle.
• Unlock the guard clamp lever, Fig.4.
• Rotate the guard to its correct position as shown in figures 5 and 6.
• Lock the guard clamp lever and retighten clamp screw securely.
