Filling and Operating

1. Always unplug the iron before filling with water.
2. Make sure the temperature control dial (9) and the steam control
lever (3) are in the MIN position. Hold the iron upright while filling
with water. Fill the water tank only up to the MAX mark (10).
3. Connect the plug to a wall socket and adjust the temperature
control dial (8) to the desired temperature. Consult the hints on
the label of the clothing.
4. The indicator lamp (6) turns on. Wait until the light turns off.
Do not leave the iron sitting on the sole for long time on the
same place in order to avoid damaging the clothing.
5. Before you finish ironing, always turn the temperature control
dial (8) to the lowest position and afterwards unplug from the
wall socket.
After ironing check if there is still enough water in the water tank.
If so, use the self-cleaning function.

Automatic Shut Off Function

If the iron is switched on and not moved for longer than 8 minutes
while standing on its heel or for 30 seconds while standing on the
soleplate, an internal safety feature will switch off the iron and the
indicator lamp (6) will start flashing. Move the appliance sharply to
switch on again.

Anti-Drip Feature

The anti-drip feature helps to reduce water drops when the iron
temperature is too low to built-up sufficient steam.

Setting the Temperature

Before setting the temperature please consult the hints for care
label on the clothing. If there are no hints for care start at the lowest
temperature and, if necessary, increase the temperature until you
achieve satisfactory results.
