Relieve the pressure in zone 2 (medium
pressure zone) with relief valve or differen-
tial pressure gauge.
The differential pressure then rises until
●
the inlet non-return check valve starts to
open.
The discharge valve must not discharge
●
water when this is happening, otherwise it
is not sealing. Possible causes for this are
dirt on the seat or a mechanical defect.
Reclose the venting valve on the differen-
tial pressure meassuring equipment.
The differential pressure must now
●
remain constant, otherwise the inlet
non-return check valve is not sealing.
Possible causes for this are dirt on the
seat or a mechanical defect.
