Adjustment of the harness
1. Tighten the harness
1. Slot the two plasti c secti ons of the buckle connectors together. (Fig 1)
2. Slot the two connectors into the hole in the top of the buckle unti l they "click" into place. (Fig 2).
Cau� on! Put the two buckle tongues together and engage in the harness buckle with an audible
CLICK!
3. Always check that the harness is correctly locked by pulling above and below the buckle. ( Fig 3)
Cau� on! Tighten the straps un� l they are in contact with your baby's body.The hip belt must lie
as low as possible over your baby's hips.
4. The harness should be adjusted as ti ghtly as possible
without causing discomfort to the child. A loose harness is dangerous and should be checked each
ti me that you use the seat. To ti ghten the harness, pull down on the adjustment strap unti l
the harness is the correct ti ghtness. ( Fig. 4)
Cau� on! Pull on the adjus� ng straps un� l the harness lies fl at and is in contact with your child's
body.Pull out the adjus� ng strap straight. There should never be more than one fi nger's width of
space between the shoulder straps and your child's shoulders.
5. The harness is loosened by pulling on both straps at the same ti me press down on the harness
adjuster. (Fig. 5)
6. To release the harness, push the red butt on in the middle of the harness buckle inwards.
You can now lift your child from the seat; ensure that the buckle connectors do not catch on clo-
thing.
