Operation

Check the battery level before each use. Do not short-circuit the USB connection.
Ensure that the battery is fully charged before each use. Before inserting the battery
into an appliance, ensure that the appliance's specifications conform to the battery
specifications listed in the technical data section. Always read the appliance's
operating instructions carefully.
a) Charging the battery
• Charge the batteries when the battery level is low or when you notice a drop in performance.
• Pull the protective cap off the end of the battery.
• Insert the USB-A connector into a USB port on a computer or another suitable USB power
source, such as a USB power adapter. Charging will begin when the USB power source
delivers a current. The LED indicator will turn red to indicate that the battery is charging.
• Unplug the battery from the USB power source when the LED indicator turns blue (this
indicates that the battery is fully charged).
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery at the maximum input current (see
"Technical data"). The actual charging time required depends on the battery level
and the charging current. If you only use the batteries occasionally, we recommend
that you charge them every three months to ensure that they retain their maximum
capacity.
If you do not unplug the battery when it is fully charged, the battery will switch to
trickle charge (the amount of power delivered to the battery is equal to the battery's
self-discharge).
b) Using the battery
• Replace the protective cap by inserting it onto the USB-A connector.
• Insert the battery into an appliance in accordance with the appliance's instructions.
• When the battery is empty, remove it from the appliance in accordance with the instructions.
c) Overload, overdischarge and short-circuit protection
• The battery automatically switches off in the event of an overload.
• The battery automatically switches off in the event of a deep discharge. If this occurs, remove
the battery from the appliance and connect it to a USB port to charge.
• The battery switches off automatically in the event of a short circuit. If this occurs, remove the
battery from the appliance and connect it to a USB port to charge.
d) Storage and transport
• Replace the protective cap when you are not using the battery.
• Ensure that the cap is connected properly and that there is no dirt trapped inside.
Cleaning
• Before cleaning the product, remove the battery from the connected appliance (or unplug it
from the USB port).
