9. Tips & hints
• When your computer has two or more PS/2 sockets, before
plugging in the mouse check which of the connections is suita-
ble for the PS/2 mouse.
Consult for example the instructions for the motherboard to de-
termine which of the connections is the right one.
Possibly small mouse and keyboard symbols will be found adja-
cent to the sockets on the rear of the PC case.
• Under Windows 9x, the PC Mouse functions with the standard
drivers contained within the operating system without the instal-
lation of an additional driver. If, however, you wish to be able to
utilise the functions of the mouse to the full, install the software
on the supplied diskette.
