5. Software installation
No driver software is required for the mouse to function under Win-
dows 95/98; the mouse will be automatically recognised and you
can immediately operate it. Even the scroll function of the roller
wheel should already be enabled.
The supplied software, however, allows the assignment of the third
mouse button (wheel button; press the roller wheel!) and additional
useful auxiliary functions.
Insert the diskette into the appropriate floppy drive of the PC and
start the program "SETUP.EXE". Follow all instructions on the scre-
en. If the software queries the mouse type, select "PS/2 mouse".
After installation of the driver, Windows 95/98 must be restarted, so
that the mouse driver will be loaded.
In the task bar there will now be a small icon, via which you can
configure the mouse.
6. Operation
Connect the mouse to the PC only when this is switched off. The
same applies when you wish to unplug the mouse.
When the mouse is plugged in or unplugged with the PC switched
on, both the PC Mouse and the PS/2 interface can be damaged.
Do not pull the plug from the PC PS/2 connector by the cable.
Do not allow the cable to kink and place no equipment onto it!

Lors du raccordement, il y aura lieu de prendre les mesures de pro-
tection adéquates contre les charges électrostatiques (par ex. ban-
de mise à la terre, sous-main non conducteur etc.).
Manipulez la souris pour PC avec précaution - des chocs, des
coups ou une chute même déjà d'une hauteur peu importante
pourront l'endommager.
