If possible set the encryption to IEEE 802.11i (WPA2) in combination with AES
for the best possible standard of WLAN security.

For unconfigured LANCOM wireless routers, a basic WEP128 encryption is
activated as standard. Information on accessing these devices over WLAN
is to be found in the documentation for the relevant device.
With unconfigured LANCOM access points the WLAN modules are
deactivated. These devices must first be configured either manually or by
a LANCOM WLAN controller.
