4. Activating the handsfree equipment

- Turn the handsfree equipment on by sliding the switch from the OFF to the ON
position (ill. 8).

- The LC screen and the background illumination are turning on.
Note: Prior to first application, you have to charge the integrated accumulator for six
hours. For this purpose, connect the enclosed vehicle charge cable to the DC sock-
et of the handsfree equipment and the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. Alter-
natively, you can also connect the handsfree equipment for charging the accumula-
tor via the separately available AC charger to the household mains network (230 V).
