3. Product description
Battery charging period
The battery only has a limited service life. If the charge in the battery only lasts for a
short period, even if it has been charged properly beforehand, the battery will have to
be replaced. Note: When working in extremely warm or cold environmental conditions,
the length of the operating time available may be reduced depending on the charge.
Please note:
The battery is a component, which is subject to wear and tear. Charge it up for at least
12 hours first. If the battery is drained too much it will become unusable. The battery
reaches its maximum efficiency after three charge-ups. There is a sound signal when
the battery is low to warn of deep discharge.
The battery looses charge even when the chair is not in use over a long period of time.
Therefore, please recharge the chair according to usage cycles, at least once a week.
Never leave the battery permanently connected to a socket! In contrast to other batte-
ries, such as those in a car, which are always recharged when the motor is running, the
chair only charges up when it is connected to a power supply.
Please urgently follow these instructions, so that you can enjoy your cliff/trim chair
from the house of ipdesign for a long time.
